The Alara of Ara Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Oba Dr. Olubayo Adesola Windapo, Oyelade Abidogun I, has extended warm and heartfelt congratulations to Alhaji Bashir Adewale Adeniyi, Comptroller-General of the Nigeria Customs Service and the Aare Parakoyi-elect of Ara Kingdom, on his landmark election as Chairman of the World Customs Organization (WCO).

He noted that Alhaji Adeniyi’s rise to the helm of the WCO, as the first Nigerian to do so, marks a defining chapter in the nation’s history and a beacon of hope to all aspiring young professionals across Africa.
“As the Alara of Ara and voice of my people both at home and in the diaspora, I salute your remarkable dedication, competence, and unshaken integrity. You are indeed a mirror through which young Africans can see what is possible when discipline meets opportunity,” the king expressed.
On behalf of the people of Ara Kingdom, Oba Windapo offered royal blessings, invoking the guidance of the ancestors and divine wisdom upon Alhaji Adeniyi as he assumes this significant international responsibility.
