Today, July 13, 2024, the people of Oke Langin in Ejigbo ,Awere Musa Community in Ede South local government and Akewula area of Ede North local government, took delivery of 500KVA Power Transformers, courtesy of the lawmaker representing Ede North, Ede South, Egbedore, Ejigbo Federal Constituency of Osun State in the National Assembly, Representative Bamidele Salam.
The intervention of Rep Bamidele Salam was in response to the appeals of the people over deteriorating power supply in their respective communities.
PDP Chairmen in Ede North, Ede South, Egbedore and Ejigbo federal constituency of Osun State, alongside some aides of the lawmaker, handed over the transformers to leaders of the communities on behalf of the lawmaker.
Obviously elated beneficiaries expressed gratitude to the House of Representative Committee Chairman on Public Accounts for his wonderful heart of service to the people of the federal constituency, praying God Almighty for continued blessings over him.
They expressed delight over his relentless efforts in providing unquantifiable succor to the pains the people of the communities have gone through over the years without power supply, which they said had adversely affected various means of livelihood in their respective areas.
Again, the people of Kuse Community in Idoosun, Egbedore local government, as well as the ancient town of Ola, in Ejigbo local government, are also due to enjoy similar gestures in a matter of days, as power transformers meant for both communities are already procured by Representative Bamidele Salam.
