The 2025 Osun State Polytechnic NAPAS Alumni Association Reunion and Annual General Meeting (AGM), held in Abuja, was a resounding success as members gathered to celebrate unity, progress, and the exceptional individuals and chapters that have shaped the association’s growth.
Organised by the National Working Committee of the 2025 Abuja Reunion/AGM Event, the ceremony featured a formal awards presentation recognising the unwavering dedication and service of its members and chapters across Nigeria and the diaspora.
Celebrating Outstanding Members
The association bestowed honours on distinguished members whose commitment and contributions have significantly impacted the growth and success of the alumni body.
These awards were conferred across various state chapters:
Lagos Chapter: Oluwatoyin Tokede-Jaiyeola was recognised for her outstanding service and remarkable contributions to the Lagos Chapter.
Diaspora: Semiu Olawale Adeyeye received accolades for his global efforts in promoting the interests of the association.
Ogun State: Oluwatosin Eze was honoured for her unwavering dedication to the Ogun Chapter.
Osun State: Tunde Raji was celebrated as an outstanding member deserving of recognition.
Oyo State: Oladele Ayodele Isaac was recognised for his tireless efforts in advancing the objectives of the alumni body.
Abuja & Northern States: Adewale Simeon was acknowledged for his exceptional service and commitment.
Special Recognition Awards
In addition to the regional honours, the association presented special recognition awards to members whose efforts have left a lasting impact:
Folake Badmus, a Kwara State member, was lauded for her consistent presence at every reunion/AGM, embodying loyalty and commitment.
Abolore Mufutau Ajiteru, fondly known as “Jogunomi of NAPAS,” received recognition for his inspiring role in managing the alumni community platform, fostering unity through daily motivational messages and prayers.
Oladotun Victor Agboola, Secretary of the Board of Trustees, was honored for his outstanding leadership, calm disposition, and strong interface with the National Executive Council.
Balkis Romoke Arewa, a dedicated diaspora member, was commended for her unwavering support and impactful contributions, reflecting the global influence of the association.
Abuja and Northern States Special Awards
The Abuja and Northern States Chapter presented their own distinguished awards to:
Adewale Moses Adegboye, celebrated for his steadfast dedication and exceptional financial stewardship, which played a pivotal role in the success of the 2025 Abuja Reunion/AGM.
Alaba Joseph Akindiya, recognised for his consistent support, generosity, and commitment to various alumni programs and initiatives. His award was presented by the chapter leadership under the coordination of Abolore Ajiteru.
