In a heartfelt expression of gratitude, the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) Southwest has commended Governor Ademola Adeleke for his transformative initiative to renovate and revitalize the Osun State Cooperative College in Ode-Omu.
This commendation, made through a statement from the office of the Assistant General Secretary of NANS Southwest, Comrader Adeyemo Josiah reflected the collective appreciation of students in the zone for the governor’s unwavering commitment to improving the educational infrastructure of Osun State.
The NANS Southwest Assistant General Secretary, extended his sincere thanks to Governor Adeleke for his leadership in spearheading the restoration of the vital educational institution.
In his statement, Comrade Kayode praised the governor’s recent inspection of the college, which demonstrated his dedication to enhancing the learning environment for students.
He noted that the governor’s promise to expedite the renovation process was both timely and encouraging, as it promises to create a conducive atmosphere for quality education, furthering the state’s development goals.
“Your promise to fast-track the renovation and rehabilitation efforts resonates deeply with our belief in the importance of quality education and training as a foundation for a prosperous future,” said Comrade Kayode.
The NANS official also emphasized the positive impact that a revitalized Cooperative College will have on local communities, including its potential to stimulate economic growth in the community.
“Governor Adeleke’s approach has not only been about restoring an educational institution but also about fostering collaboration between various stakeholders, including Honorable Commissioners and other key figures,” he said.
The NANS Southwest expressed strong confidence that the newly renovated Cooperative College would become a Centre of excellence, contributing significantly to both the educational and economic landscape of Osun State.
“We are confident that this initiative will not only improve the quality of education but will also empower the youth and foster sustainable development,” Comrade Kayode affirmed.
The National Association of Nigerian Students also pledged its support for the initiative, with NANS Southwest expressing readiness to collaborate with the state government to ensure the project’s successful completion.
