Representative Bamidele Salam, in collaboration with the National Teachers’ Institute (NTI), Kaduna have announced the shortlisting of 1,075 students from tertiary institutions across Ede North, Ede South, Egbedore, and Ejigbo Federal Constituency of Osun State for the 2025 bursary award.
The shortlist marks a significant milestone in the implementation of the bursary initiative, which aims to support academically qualified students facing financial challenges in the pursuit of higher education.
The National Teachers’ Institute (NTI), Kaduna, is serving as the implementing agency for the programme, ensuring transparency and effective coordination throughout the selection process.
The bursary application, officially launched on June 30, 2025, drew hundreds of applicants across universities, polytechnics, and colleges of education, with successful candidates meeting stringent eligibility and documentation requirements.
The bursary team has begun notifying successful candidates via SMS, and further instructions regarding documentation and attendance have been communicated directly.
The official disbursement of the bursary will take place on Tuesday, 16th September, 2025, at the constituency.
This event will serve as both a financial empowerment exercise and a reaffirmation of Rep. Salam’s commitment to youth development through education.
