The lawmaker representing Ede North, Ede South, Egbedore and Ejigbo Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Representative Bamidele Salam, has facilitated the provision of two 500KVA transformers to communities in the constituency.
The transformers are designated for Olofa Estate, Ofatedo, in Egbedore Local Government Area, and Oke-Iresi Community, NDLEA Area, in Ede South Local Government Area.
The intervention is expected to improve electricity supply and support economic activities, businesses and households in the beneficiary communities.
The transformers were delivered to the communities on behalf of the lawmaker by his Senior Legislative Aide, Barrister Akintayo Jimoh, alongside other aides.
Community leaders who received the transformers expressed appreciation to Salam for what they described as his continued efforts to attract development interventions to the constituency.
They said improved electricity supply would have a positive impact on businesses, households and other economic activities in the affected communities.
The leaders also pledged their continued support for the lawmaker and the administration of Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke.
The provision of the transformers is part of Salam’s efforts to attract infrastructure and development interventions to communities across the federal constituency.
